July 2010 ......... no66 Saturday 3RD July, 2010 - OUR CLUB'S 8TH BIRTHDAY PARTY AT SWANSEA BOWLING CLUB Night Cruze - This year we are having our Club birthday Party at Swansea Bowling Club, Charles St, Swansea. We have the function room to ourselves and drinks are at club prices. For those that would like to travel down together meet at Hungry Jacks, Belmont 5.45pm depart 6pm or head directly to the venue. Sunday 18th July, 2010 - Walka Water Waters, Scobies Lane, Maitland Day Cruze - Meet at Maccas Broadmeadow 9.30am depart 9.45am for a scenic run around Newcastle then to our secondary meeting point Hungry Jacks, Hexham (about 10.15am ) to arrive at Walka Water Works approx 11am. BYO BBQ in the all weather BBQ facilities. Afterwards we will cruise back to Macca's East Maitland for coffee and cake. Sunday 1st August, 2010 - Caves Beach Hotel, Caves Beach Breakfast Cruze - Meet at Hungry Jacks, Belmont 8.45am to depart 9am for the Caves Beach Resort. Later we will cruze to Toronto via the south end of the lake for coffee and cake at one of the lakeside cafes. Wednesday 11th August, 2010 - Stroud Midweek Cruze - Meet at 12 Mile Creek rest area at 10.00am depart 10.15am. Bring own morning tea and lunch. Sunday 15th August, 2010 - Soldiers Point Day Cruze - Meet Macca's B/MEADOW 9.45am depart 10am. Cruise around Newcastle beaches then heading north via Stockton Bridge to the Service Station at Paul's Corner on the large roundabout to pickup any members who wish to meet there approx 10.45am to leave 11am. Due the unpredictable weather at this time of the year the venue for lunch will be Soldiers Point Bowling Club. Afterwards will be the traditional cruze for coffee and cake as decided by those in attendance. Sunday 5th September, 2010 - Day Cruze To be advised Wednesday 15th September, 2010 - Karuah Midweek Cruze - Meet at 12 Mile Creek rest area at 10.00am, depart 10.15am. Bring own morning tea and lunch or purchase in Karuah. Sunday 19th September, 2010 - Breakfast Run To Mount Sugarloaf ???? Breakfast Cruze - Meet at Macca's Glendale 8.30am to depart 8.45am. BYO BBQ brekky. Later we will cruze to Toronto via the F2 for coffee and cake at one of the lakeside cafes. Cruise around Newcastle beaches then heading south to Hungry Jacks, Belmont to pickup any members who wish to meet there 11am to leave 11.15am then heading off to Budgiewoi via Elizabeth Bay Drive to arrive approx Noon where we will dine. Anyone wishing to join In should cruze by McDonalds around 2.00 -2.15 pm. Log books MUST be filled in also.
