MUSTANG CLUB Sunday  8TH APRIL 2012  [EASTER SUNDAY ]- The Mustang Show The Sunday venue for the Mustang Show is Foreshore Park. This beautiful park is beside the busy working Newcastle port on the Hunter River. The park sits in the shadow of the historic Fort Scratchley, built to defend the port against possible Russian attack during the Crimea war. From the park, it is a short walk to the Hunter Street Mall or to the multiple food vendors and restaurants which surround the riverside Brewery.

MID-WEEK CRUZE WEDNESDAY 30TH NOVEMBER Our last mid-week cruze for the year will be to "The Skillion" at Terrigal. Meeting at Hungry Jacks Belmont at 10.00am, driving directly to Terrigal, to procure an appropriate parking area and to set-up our tables and chairs for a fish & chip lunch, available from the fish & chippery nearby. Just a reminder, that the weather this time of the year should be sunny, so bring ample sun protection,as shade is limited.

Just a note for anyone considering going on the cruise to Mt Penang Gardens on 20th November.  If you have access to an entertainment book, there is a voucher in it to get two for one entry.  If not, the entry fee is $7.50 per adult or if you are lucky enough to be a senior it is $5.00.  Bring a table and chairs and we can have a picnic by the pond just inside the gates of the gardens. You may wish to wander around

Sunday 15th January, 2012 - 30th Annual All American Day Hosted by MOCA Castle Towers Shopping Centre, Castle Hill Special Day Cruze - Meet Twin Caltex Servo South bound on F3 Fwy at 7.15am depart 7.30am Entry fee ($10) per car with all proceeds from the day in aid of The Children's Hospital at Westmead. Need to be Parking cars at 8.30 am. For those who are New Members or those who have never been to this ALL AMERICAN DAY Organised By the NSW MUSTANG CLUB. Make sure you go, 500-600 Cars usually on Display. The Shopping Centre is open all day to Shop or Eat. (Entry off Old Castle Hill Road) Extended car park for a bigger display and undercover facilities in case of rain. Registration by 10am on the day to be eligible for 29 Trophy categories, catering for Vintage and Veteran, HotRods, Cruisers, Commercials, MuscleCars, Convertibles and much more. Thursday 26th January, 2012 - Australia Day Aussie BBQ MOUNT SUGARLOAF Come on AUSSIE…Come on !!!!  …Bring a FLAG or TWO & Arrive Hungry Pack your picnic brekky and come along and celebrate. Meet at Meet Macca's B/MEADOW 8.15am, depart 8.30am, Cruise west to Mount Sugarloaf arrive 9am. Mid-Week 8th February 2012 - TEA GARDENS Meet at the 12 Mile Creek rest area, north of Raymond Terrace, at 10.30am for morning tea, then taking a leisurely cruze to Tea Gardens for a look around, then have lunch at the Tea Gardens Hotel. Meet at east side of Sparks Road F3 overpass (Toukley Turnoff) off the F3 freeway at 8.00am to depart 8.15am. Entry $10 donation.  Always a good day by the water with markets, cafes and hotels all close by. If your Running Late Please Proceed to the Entrance & look for us. We Need To Be On Time To Get A Good Spot For All To Park Near The Water. Sunday 18th March, 2012 - BBQ Breakfast Stockton Foreshore Meet Macca's Broadmeadow 8.15am depart 8.30am for a cruise around Newcastle beaches and arrive 9am for a BYO BBQ Breakfast on the Foreshore at Stockton. Afterwoods we will cruze to East Maitland via Tomago and Hexham for coffee, cake or ice cream at Macca's Eats Maitland. Lunch will be at Wollombi, be it either self supplied or at the Wollombi Tavern or a cafe in the village.
