AUSTRALIA DAY
26 th. JANUARY. 2003.
BREAKFAST IN THE BUSH ! WHAT A WAY TO CELEBRATE " AUSTRALIA DAY"
FOLLOWED BY A ..." CRUZE " to Patterson For Lunch at a Local " PUB "..a stop at Morpeth on the Hunter river on the way
was needed for ( " Hell it was damn HOT already 33 . C." ) Ice Creams & Drinks , followed by some visits to the local Antique Shops, to lighten a few pockets or use the Plastic Fantastic. Come 3 Pm it was time to " CRUZE on Home" Via the Beaches.
A total Fire Ban was in force across NSW, with Temperatures Forcast to hit 35 Degrees "C" in the afternoon.
Not the best weather for a BBQ Breakfast, but, nine Members & their Families decided to go any way. Mount Sugerloaf
was the destination, to the West of Newcastle, a nice park besides the TV & Communication Towers over looking The
Coast, North & South..Clear Sky's and a nice cool breeze made it a great location & a Great Breakfast on the day !
The New Gas BBQ's under cover, along with the New undercover Tables were great. (Our Second BBQ to this Location).
We had the Good Old Aussie Flag flying to remind us it was Australia Day..Besides our Breakfast Pig Out !!!!!!!!
See a few Photos of some friendly Newcastle Cruzers Enjoying another Trouble free day..with some Aussie Bush as well.
